Cosmetic Dentistry

Cosmetic dentistry procedures are a safe way to improve the whole look of your mouth at a reasonable cost. During your examination, your doctor will explore your oral cavity and surrounding structures; and suggest alternative treatments according to your desired outcome. Once you agree to a treatment plan, our doctors will work towards correcting any chipped, cracked, discolored or unevenly spaced teeth you might have, so you can achieve the smile of your dreams. At Tooth Town Dental Clinic, we use advanced cosmetic dental techniques, so we are confident you will be happy with the result.

Dental Implants

Dental implants are the most predictable and longest lasting way to replace missing teeth. They have been used in dentistry for decades, and with great results. Studies show that, under ideal conditions, they are 98% successful. That is why we offer a life-time guarantee on dental implants that have been placed and restored by our dental clinic An ideal patient for dental implants should have enough bone structure to hold the implant stable. He or she needs to be in good health condition too. If you suffer from uncontrolled diabetes, hypertension, osteoporosis, arthritis, smoking the success rate of the implant may be reduced. There are many protocols to place and restore dental implants, but we believe in the ones that generic studies and our own experience have proven to be the most successful.

One Stage Dental Implants

One-stage dental implants have been around for many years and they have good success rate; however, they are only recommended in certain cases. They tend to be successful on front teeth; also, they are great for totally edentulous jaws which can take four to six implants and be restored immediately.

Two-stage dental implants are the most recommended. This protocol has been 98% successful for many years. Due to the healing period between the first and second steps, the body is able to create a strong junction between the titanium dental implants and the bone structure, resulting in a longer-lasting restoration. The two stages are usually completed in a four- to six-month time period. Replacing missing teeth promptly is essential to your overall dental functionality, as failing to do so results in gaps in your mouth which both leave the remaining teeth unsupported and force the remaining teeth to work harder than they should when you eat. If left unsupported, the remaining teeth may drift along the jaw bone, reducing the spaces between them; they may become weaker, making brushing and flossing more difficult.

Missing teeth can jeopardize the integrity of the jaw bone and even change the shape of your face. Missing teeth can make you look older and less healthy. Some major health problems such as TMJ disorders may be consequence of not replacing missing teeth as well.
A very common reason people consider dental implants is because a sliding lower denture makes chewing and talking difficult. Dental Implants can also replace individual teeth and be used to secure partial bridges in the upper and lower jaws. The majority of patients treated with dental implants experience a significant improvement in their ability to chew food and smile more comfortably. One of the benefits of replacing teeth with dental implants is to be able to have a fake tooth that works almost like a natural one without damaging or disturbing the neighboring teeth. Dental Implants are very durable and will last many years...oftentimes a lifetime. They require the same "maintenance" as real teeth, including brushing, flossing and regular dental check-ups. Dental Implants can help restore almost anyone's smile even if natural teeth have been lost to injury or disease. Our doctors can replace any number of missing teeth (even all your teeth) permanently.

The procedure includes placing an anchor, often a titanium screw, directly into your jawbone. Once your jaw and gums have fully healed from implanting the anchor, a prosthetic tooth is attached to it. The prosthetic tooth is crafted to look just like your natural teeth, matching them in size, color, contour, and shape. Your smile can be fully restored and even look better than before. You will also find eating easier and more enjoyable.

Porcelain Veneers

There are many reasons why your smile might not be dazzling. You may have gaps between your teeth, or crooked teeth that have not been corrected by braces. You may have permanently stained teeth. Our cosmetic dentist can employ porcelain laminates (also known as dental veneers) to remedy these flaws and give you a bright smile that you will be happy to share with the rest of the world. Porcelain veneers are wafer-thin shells of porcelain that are bonded onto the front side of teeth for a cosmetic improvement of discolored, worn, chipped or misaligned teeth.
Porcelain veneers are less invasive than dental caps or crowns, and very little tooth enamel is removed to place them. Your natural teeth can be better preserved. When the porcelain veneers are bonded to a tooth, the latter keeps its overall integrity. If you have healthy teeth but seek to beautify your smile, then porcelain veneers may be the solution you should consider. Additionally, they may be a great option if you want to hide stains that cannot be eliminated by whitening solutions
Porcelain veneers cover natural teeth and give them a uniform, bright look. If you are an adult and braces are not an option, veneers can be used to create evenly spaced teeth, fix crooked teeth and correct tooth size and overall appearance.

Porcelain Crowns and Bridges Porcelain Crowns

Porcelain Crowns

The benefits of dental crowns are evident and clear: you look, feel and chew better with them. With dental crowns you prevent the appearance of additional dental health problems in the future, such as the weakening of your teeth (no brainer, if you have fewer teeth, the remaining ones work more!) or their displacement.
We recommends and uses porcelain crowns on its patients' teeth. This because porcelain is more resistant and durable than previous dental crown technologies. The cost of porcelain crowns has gone decreased over the last few years, making them a solid investment in your beauty and health which will last for decades.

We work with two kinds of porcelain dental crowns:

Dental Crowns

Dental crowns are used to restore damaged teeth. They are prepared to mimic the shape, size and color of your surrounding teeth. You can use a crown on a cracked tooth with deep cavities or for a variety of other reasons, such as to protect teeth that have undergone root canal treatment; to provide extra support for bridges; or to cover poorly shaped or colored teeth.
Dental crowns may be made of metal, porcelain, or other porcelain-fused restorative materials. They are custom-made and fitted for each patient according to the size and length of the natural teeth being treated. Crowns typically last five to eight years, but can last much longer with proper oral hygiene.

Dental Bridges

A bridge stabilizes the bite of a patient who is missing one or more teeth. Dental bridges prevent the surrounding teeth from moving or shifting in the mouth. A missing tooth that is not replaced may cause surrounding teeth to become unstable and require removal, or make the teeth harder to clean, compromising oral health... or change the shape of a face and diminish the beauty of a smile.Unlike partial dentures, bridges are permanent; patients cannot remove them.

Smile Design

At Tooth Town Dental Clinic, we offer custom smile makeover services that allow you to choose the ideal smile to fit your lifestyle and personality. Whether you want teeth that are whiter, straighter, longer, or shaped more appropriately to fit your facial features, a smile design gives you total control over the final results of your new smile.

Whitening System

Your smile is very important. It's one of the first things you notice when you meet someone, and one of the first things people notice when they meet you. A white, bright smile makes a person look more beautiful and appealing, more confident and successful. Our lifestyles and aging process can stain and darken our teeth. It is a normal process which is sometimes worsened by our drinking of coffee, tea, cola, red wine, or by smoking. Fortunately, stained teeth can be whitened. Dental whitening treatments are both available at our offices and can also be completed at home

  • Fast and convenient
  • Long lasting
  • Not aggressive against your teeth
  • Proven to be safe and effective
  • Performed by a dental professional who knows what he is doing
  • Whitening is a cosmetic procedure designed to remove stains and to brighten teeth which have suffered discoloration, as well as to lighten pigmentation within the teeth

Restorative Dentistry

Restorative dentistry is aimed at helping you repair or replace your natural teeth in order to return your mouth to its full functionality and aesthetic balance. It focuses on patients who have one or more damaged teeth. We believe that restorations should be completed with the patient's overall health and well-being in mind. It not necessary just to look good (aesthetic reasons) but to be healthy too, as teeth are the first part of our body's digestive system. Contact us for more information about our restorative dental solutions, such as full and partial dentures, bridges, removable and fixed prosthesis, dental implants and full mouth restorations.
