Meet Dr. Amandeep Singh Arora
I am so excited to welcome you and your child to Tooth Town Dental Clinic. I understand how difficult it is to trust someone else with your child. On a daily basis, I am trusted by parents just like you to care for their children and keep their children smile healthy. I adore my patients, and I love getting to see their happy, smiling faces. I enjoy working with all of my patients families, and building a trust that lasts for years. Making a difference in a child’s life is the most rewarding feeling. My staff and I provide dental care in a way that is comfortable, safe, and fun for the child. I am sincere in saying that I truly love my job as a Pediatric Dentistry.
In the practice, I use technology and provide treatment options that will make your child’s first dental visit, and every visit, seem less intimidating, and more fun. By catching dental problems early, we can help your child prevent damage or tooth loss later in life.
The relationships that our office develops with our patients and their families, to us, are priceless. I look forward to getting to know my patients, hearing about all of their adventures in life, and listening to what is important to them at each and every appointment.
About Professional Information/Education
I am proud to have been practicing Pediatric Dentistry and serving the people
During this time I have earned several certifications from different professional organizations in my field. Since an early age I always knew that I wanted to work with children and Pediatric Dentistry soon became a perfect fit. I received my Bachelor of Science degree from DJ Dental College. I then went on and took training from AIIMS, New Delhi. I completed my professional education by receiving my Masters in Pediatric Dentistry degree from the Genesis Institute of Dental Sciences, Baba Farid University Of Health Sciences, Punjab. Continuing education is an important part of my job as a Pediatric Dentist and I regularly participate in continuing education opportunities.
Our site provides important information about our practice that will help you become familiar with Pediatric Dentistry. Our office is committed to providing you with the highest quality of care. We will make every effort to ensure that your first visit with us is a comfortable and informative experience.
Children are not just small adults. They are not always able to be patient and cooperative during a dental examination.
Pediatric Dentists know how to examine and treat children in ways that make them comfortable. In addition, Pediatric Dentists use specially designed equipment in offices that are arranged and decorated with children in mind.
As Pediatric Dentists, we promote the dental health of children as well as serve as educational resources for parents. It is recommended by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) and the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) that a dental visit should occur within six months after the presence of the first tooth or by a child’s first birthday. The AAPD has said that it is important to establish a comprehensive and accessible ongoing relationship between the dentist and patient – referring to this as the patient’s “dental home”. This is because early oral examination aids in the detection of the early stages of tooth decay. Early detection is essential to maintain oral health, modify aberrant habits, and treat as needed and as simply as possible. Additionally, parents are given a program of preventative home care (brushing/flossing/fluorides), a caries risk assessment, information on finger, thumb, and pacifier habits, advice on preventing injuries to the mouth and teeth of children, diet counseling, and information on growth and development.
Our practice has the specialized equipment, facility, and staff to properly address today’s most demanding Pediatric Dental needs in a warm and caring environment.
